I bet you were so excited to be done with citing your sources after high school or college… but, not so fast! Citing sources is very important in our genealogical research too. Citations can help others understand the accuracy of the conclusions we have made about our ancestors’ lives. They can help us or others go back to the same source in the future when a question arises or we want to look up another ancestor in the same source.
